The day Roe v. Wade was overturned, I immediately got to work for all Nevadans by drafting the 2022 Executive Order protecting abortion providers, non-profits, patients, and women in Nevada seeking reproductive care from criminal prosecution. As a civil rights attorney, legal aid attorney, and public defender, I’ve fought to protect consumers from predatory corporations, tenants from unjust treatment, and our neighbors experiencing mental illness in need of comprehensive care. My work is built on my belief that all of us deserve to live in a community that not only sustains us, but also helps us reach our dreams.
Now, I’m running for Assembly District 24 because, now more than ever, our community deserves a fighter, and I will always fight for the rights and well-being of my neighbors. That is why I am dedicated to uplifting working families, ensuring access to safe schools, making healthcare and housing affordable, protecting our environment, and trusting women to make their own healthcare decisions.

Drafting Governor Sisolak’s executive order protecting abortion rights was the honor of my career. Thank you @Nicole4Nevada for continuing this fight. No one should be held criminally liable for seeking reproductive care. https://t.co/5hyMoXeVvq

This week, all 17 of Nevada’s sheriffs, the highest ranking law enforcement officers in the State, claimed it is “only a misdemeanor to possess up to 100 grams of fentanyl.” Let’s set the record straight. #nvleg https://t.co/fSSJiZ8M3z

Increasing penalties for possession of fentanyl is yet another iteration of the drug war’s ineffective and punitive strategies. To prevent overdose deaths and protect our communities we must invest in public health solutions to mitigate the harms of illicit fentanyl. https://t.co/zGdWH0axal

Proud to speak about what’s at stake in 2024. Republicans have shown where they stand on abortion- from fulfilling their promise to overturn Roe or voting against every single pro-choice piece of legislation this session. Democrats will and must defend the right to choose. https://t.co/91DYZ4dEGQ

Erica Roth, who testified in support on behalf of the Washoe and Clark County public defenders offices, challenged those opposed the legislation to “point to what dignity or right someone who is unhoused doesn’t deserve to have.” 🦗🦗🦗🦗https://t.co/B2MShDSJIQ

Yesterday, the Supreme Court announced it will decide whether millions of patients will have access to mifepristone, the safe and commonly used pill for abortion. Don’t be fooled, this decision will have a devastating impact on abortion in Nevada. A 🔗 pic.twitter.com/wkOtJXBjmA
